Background Information:
This season Bristol Mountain opened its new Freestyle Aerial Jump Training Facility, which will allow for world class athletes to train at one of only three sanctioned Freestyle Aerial training sites in the United States. The other sites are located at Olympic training centers in Lake Placid and Park City. Of the three, Bristol Mountain is the only site where guests can ski right up to the training site and watch top Freestyle. The first national team to utilize the training site is Team China who will be training at Bristol Mountain for a total of seven weeks in preparation for the FIS World Cup Freestyle Aerial completion in Lake Placid on January 19th. Xuo Mengtao, who claimed the Silver Medal in the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympic Games, is one of the amazing Freestyle Aerial athletes training at Bristol Mountain.
