REGISTRATION
Registration for the event will take place in the Rocket Lodge from 8am – 8:50am. If someone in your party has not registered yet they can sign-up for the event in Guest Services. There are only 22 spots remaining and registration is on a first come first serve basis.
EXPEDITION
The expedition will begin at 9am. The route has been altered to “respect the integrity of the snow” on Upper Rocket and Upper Meteor (we want to be skiing as soon as we can!). We will be heading up Lower and Upper Galaxy and then across the top of the mountain to the fire pit by the Summit Center where you will sign your name in the official Blue Suspender Ledger and be awarded your Blue Suspenders and pin.
There will be hot chocolate at the summit as a reward for all of your hard work. Grab a cup and hang out around the fire with the other members of the Blue Suspender Class of 2017.
A friendly reminder that expedition participants will need to find their own way down the mountain. If you have friends or family who aren’t participating in the event they can drive up to the summit via South Hill Road to meet you (and watch you earn your Blue Suspenders!). Alternately, if the weather forecast holds, it should be a nice day for an stroll down the access road (Hale Bopp > Milky Way > Eclipse >Infinity) or any other way down the mountain you choose.

Legend* has it that only the most hardcore and dedicated Bristol Mountain faithful skip the Black Friday madness and head to Bristol Mountain to test their conditioning and earn their Blue Suspenders.
How can you earn your Blue Suspenders?
Register for the event and make it to the summit of Bristol Mountain via Rocket. The event will take place rain (snow?!) or shine. Whatever the condition of the trail is**, you will need to make it to the summit. Blue Suspenders are earned, not given.
Be a part of the First Annual Blue Suspender Expedition and earn your Blue Suspenders and a custom 2017 Expedition Pin on Friday, November 24th.
EVENT INFORMATION

Every participant who successfully completes the challenge will earn a pair of high-quality American Made Blue Suspenders (designed for snow pants) and a custom 2017 Expedition Pin to start their collection. Each year participants who have successfully earned their Blue Suspenders in years past will be able to earn a new custom pin to add to their collection.
Registration is available online and is limited to the first 100 participants. Participants will need to find their own way down the mountain (Don’t worry! You will have your new suspenders to keep you company).
