It has been an exciting season at Bristol Mountain. The US Elite Aerial Development Team has been training at Bristol Mountain this week in preparation for the Jr. World Ski Championships in Valmalenco, Italy, which take place at the end of March. On Thursday, March 7th from 10am-12pm, spectators and media representatives are invited to watch these athletes train at the Bristol Mountain Freestyle Aerial Training Center located at High Point Terrain Park on Challenger Trail. US Ski & Snowboard Team Freestyle Aerial Athletes Chris Lillis and Patrick O’Flynn will be at Bristol Mountain for this event. Lillis will be providing commentary and O’Flynn will participate in this training session.
US Ski & Snowboard Team Technical Advisor, Chris “Seedog” Seemann, remarked, “This is an amazing training site. We are so excited to be training at Bristol Mountain this week. It’s been a great experience for our athletes and coaches.”
Earlier this season Team China’s Freestyle Aerial Team spent seven weeks in December and January training at in preparation for the World Cup event in Lake Placid and World Championships in Deer Valley, where they picked up medals at both.
